The Foreign Policy Institute for State Legislators Class of 2007 met in Washington, DC from September 16 through September 20th. The Class of 2007 included 11 State Senators and Representatives from ten different states.

On May 23, 2007, the Center released the Report Card on State Action to Combat International Trafficking.The first ever state-by-state analysis of state legislatures’ efforts to confront trafficking of women and girls into the United States.

The GlobalPOWER® Class of 2007 included five women Members of Parliament, a Minister of Labour, Public Administration and Empowerment, one Assemblywoman from the Ho Municipal Assembly in Ghana and three graduates of the Center’s Foreign Policy Institute for State Legislators. The Class of 2007 met in Washington, DC from May 7 - 11, 2007.
