Our 2009 GlobalPOWER® Ambassadors Dinner introduced to our Washington colleagues and friends the GlobalPOWER® sisters and their Ambassadors to the USA -- from Bahrain, Burundi, Dominica, Namibia, Pakistan, Uganda, USA (Florida and Utah), and Zambia.
We are especially grateful to our sponsors - Cummins Inc, Komen for the Cure®, and the Miranda Foundation - for their support of the Ambassadors Dinner and of the Center's mission to promote women's human rights through enlightened public policy.
We send our very special thanks to Jean Blackwell of Cummins, Hala Moddelmog of Komen, and Lourdes Miranda of the Miranda Foundation. They are very special friends of the Center and we honor their commitment to women's leadership.
